NIR Spectroscopy
NIR Spectroscopy – For nearly twenty years ITG has designed and manufactured NIR spectrometers used for quantitatively and qualitatively measuring constituents such as fat, moisture and protein in food and agricultural products, and moisture in industrial products.
Because we have primarily produced instruments for OEM resale, the ITG name is largely unknown as the actual developer and manufacturer to end users. However, products are now available with the ITG brand.
Our expertise in a wide variety of electro-optical based detection technologies has led to numerous innovations. ITG has many of its’ own technologies that can be made available for spectroscopy and other applications. We have produced quality assurance instruments for at-line and in-line production use complete with sample handling accessories. Small remote sensors using fiber optic probes have been built where space is a consideration. Many of our instruments are also used for sampling in laboratories. We are experienced at producing hand held devices for special purpose measurement. ITG manufactured equipment is used globally by many well known international food companies on hundreds of products. The NIR spectrometers we designed and produced are used to measure fat and moisture percentages in snack foods, protein and fat in powdered dairy, and moisture in glue and bricks.
Printed Circuit Board Design and Production
Printed Circuit Board Design and Production – Our engineers at ITGC design printed circuit boards as required for our projects and products. ITGC has invested in modern pick and place equipment to efficiently produce small quantity surface mount boards much faster than an outside specialty shop can deliver. This not only keeps quality under our control but significantly reduces development time.
Component, Machine, and Instrument Assembly
Component, Machine, and Instrument Assembly – If you have a requirement for sub-contracting component or machine assembly work, ITGC can help. Our well tooled shops are clean and staffed by technicians with a wide background of quality electro-mechanical and optical assembly.
Diagnostics and Repair
Diagnostics and Repair – Too often a piece of equipment requiring repair is for some reason no longer serviced by the manufacture. We have repaired or re-engineered components with modern parts saving the cost of replacing the entire machine or instrument.
